Top Rope Connection Methods

You may notice that there has been a recent change across Hardrock centres in relation to the top rope connection. You will now find two locking karabiners on the climbers end of the rope to replace the figure 8. Please see below the correct methods to connect the climbers end to a rental harness as well as a lead climbing harness. 

There are other harnesses in circulation that are not pictured below that may require a different method of connection (eg full body harness). Please see our staff if you have a harness that is not pictured so they can demonstrate the correct connection method.
