Welcome to… Queer Youth Night!
Hardrock's Queer Youth Night (QYN) aims to provide a space for queer kids to meet each other and hang out, whilst enjoying the health and social benefits that climbing has to offer. Participants will also have access to host Arrow who is an experienced climber and coach to guide them through the sessions and to provide coaching at all experience levels.
The QYN events are currently running on the second Thursday of each month, and participants are welcome to attend reguarly, or just for a one off session.
There is no prerequisite level of climbing experience necessary to join, this group is for experienced climbers, first time climbers and everyone in between. The only restriction being a youth program is that participants are required to be in the age range of 11-18 years.
Join your host Arrow at 5:15 for a meet & greet before being guided through a group warm up and into the climb session. If you have any questions about this event before deciding whether to attend or not, please reach out in whichever way you feel comfortable and we will happily provide further information or answer your questions. :)
